In my native language, there is a proverb: "The wood you gather in the dry season is what you use in the rainy season." This means that during times of relative ease or preparation, you must collect the resources and resolve the necessary steps to sustain you when life becomes difficult. Making a decision and taking action now is how you "gather wood," ensuring that when the seasons of life change, you are not left in the cold or filled with regret.
